Very nice, thanks for sharing!

I'm still on the fence about adding a spoiler. If I do pull the trigger, it'll likey be this one. I find the cost to be a bit steep though.

Side note - I find it curious that they blur the pony emblem in their pics. Same blurred pony on Ford's own accessories website as well.

I just got the same part! I used about 50K Ford points and the MEMBR25 discount code. The final price (with delivery and taxes) was US$ 110.

I thought about getting one of these Ford spoilers for the same reason that it overhangs a little over the sides and gives it a beefier look, but then I thought, what if it snags on something and pulls or breaks off. Maybe a mishap through a car wash or an aggressive polisher gets hooked. Since this things are more decorative than anything from a practical sense, I ended up going with one of the standard AOSK spoilers. No overhang, but gives the rear a little more gloss black flare to go with the other gloss black body molding.

Yeah I've been thinking of getting this for a long time. I like that it overhangs the liftgate on the sides. They also make this spoiler in carbon fiber for $1500!
At 4,000-5,000 pounds, saving those ounces added by getting a plastic wing instead of the carbon fiber is crucial to performance. ?

I think for the most part, weight savings using carbon fibre isn't realistic in anything except in top level bicycles, everything else it's purely aesthetics. an excuse to post a pic! :)

If you check the description it is just a carbon finish on the cf air design spoiler. It is just polyurethane with a wrap. Don't bother at all with that one for the money. Just for looks not any lighter.

good catch, I never noticed that it was a poly molded piece before, $1500 guarantees I'd never go for it anyway. But I do like the standar piano black ford one at $495. I've got 50K fordpass points so I could burn them up ordering one. and save at least a little money

Like others in this thread, I was looking at the Ford spoiler. I like the look, but the price is a bit high for what it is. Also worried about the overhang catching on things. Probably better to just go with a different spoiler.

I have the Ford/Air Design spoiler in gloss black on a Star White car. Installed it myself. I think it looks great. It’s all a matter of personal taste. Used Ford points and discount. It has not caught on anything. Seems solid as a rock and has survived interstate travel at interstate speeds. Would I take it through a car wash? No. I would have concerns about the equipment snagging under the overhangs. There is a simple remedy. I wash the car by hand at home. I also have the front splitter. Clearly it’s not a competition oriented piece. But I like the look. I think it gives the non-GT front end a little more presence with looking ridiculous, in my opinion. They’re Mustangs, they beg for a personal touch.
