Since the update to the ford pass app to ford, my 2025 Mach e welcome lights stopped working with paak or the remote key. Before the update when approaching the car the parking lights and welcome pony light always worked. If I turn the setting off then on again under settings, lighting, welcome lights on the car screen they will work, but only one time. I have also logged out of the app, closed it, opened it and logged back in but that did not help. Any suggestions?

The ford pass app doesn’t have any impact on the things you’ve mentioned.

I have experienced that the charging page does not update in synch with the controls and setting page. The charging page updates quite slower. Only way to update charge or departure status is to close out then restart the app.

Ford: Only a few programming reasons this could happen. Each are easily fixed. Please make it so.

Welcome lighting drains the 12V battery, so they may have made some changes to limit the activation of the welcome lighting. It seems to now only activate a couple times and only if the 12V battery has a high enough charge level.

If you drive the car, park it, go in a store, then come back out it should still work. If the car is sitting in your driveway or garage and you keep walking past it, then it probably won't work.

I posted about this same issue with my 24 Premium, that the Welcome lights were not working any more after the update. Since my post, they have worked only 2 times out of maybe 100 approaches of varying times away. Sad since the pony was a favorite show off item. I never carry my key around when passing the car in my garage or drive way...I use the key pad for any quick entry if not actually planning on driving it. Technology certainly has its ups and downs.

I've noticed this, as well.

Maybe it's coincidence, but I've noticed that since the Ford Pass update, my '25 MME GT doesn't automatically pair with my phone and start Android Auto. I'm forced to select my phone from the "list" (my phone is the only one on the list) and then select Android Auto from the SYNC screen. This happens about 50% of the time now since the Ford Pass update. Prior to the update it had never happened.

That has nothing to do with ford pass.

Ford is currently working on a known PAAK problem which involves the Android system. Because your issue is a 'synching' problem, they could be related.
