Might make sense.
It all depends on much you drive each month.
(and how long you plan to live at your place!)

I drive 15,000 a year, so 1,250 a month on average.
That should be about 420-450kWh, so at $0.12/kWh I would save about $50-$55 a month.
Then considering you pay $31 for the program (if you already have an existing 240V), you'll end up saving $19 to $24 a month.
That would take about 3 years to cover the early termination fee.

If you don't have a 240V yet, and want L2 charging, probably makes even more sense, because you'd end up spending money to get that installed anyway.
Another problem that I see with the program, is what I'm having right now. My Mach-E, after a relatively minor Collision is in the shop for repairs for 2 months. And I assume you would still have to pay the $31 per month even if you're not using it. Go up North for the summer, still pay? And the other is, what if you no longer own an electric car at all!

Seems like a more interesting approach would be a lower rate for off-peak charging for those of us that already have a Level 2 installation, such as mine that already includes a JuiceBox 40. The 10-year contract reminds me of the days when cable and phone companies made you rent rather than buy your own in-home hardware.
