FPL Short Cable

FPL Evolution at Colonial Square Plaza in Fort Myers. What were they thinking when they decided how long to make the cable? If I parked any closer, the concrete curbing would be in my front end.

Looks like you have atleast another 15 inches of space before hitting the curb and the cable reaches the car fine. I'd say that cable is actually the perfect length to not hang too long and rest on hood. Perfect design.

It looks like both cables are on the left and the connection point pivots out. Also, it appears one cable is CCS and one is CHADEMO.
But I agree with @bs1055 that the picture makes it look like the car could move forward and would clear the curb, but sometimes pictures are deceiving.

I have a history (according to my Wife) of driving over curbing and scraping the bottom of the front end. Just trying to be conservative with my new toy.
