From San Jose to SLC

I drove the 870 mi from San Jose to salt lake City and then back so I had to stop to recharge several times. I stopped in Auburn, California Truckee, California lovelock, Nevada Battle mountain, Nevada Wells, Nevada and wendover Nevada. The best charging station hands down was the one in Wells. It was and electrify America and it actually had buckets with water and squeegees to wash the windows. First time ever. I didn't use Tesla and the others I did use worked perfectly.

Nice observation of charging sites starting to compete with each other. We all benefit from better amenities, better bathrooms, and better pricing. Down in SoCal some sites offer steep discounts for charging during the dark, night hours. Goes back to the definition of Capitalism/Free Enterprise that I learned long ago: "A system designed to make owners do what they don't want to do!"
