My service consultant told me something very similar. He said that Ford had updated the part and not updated the service manual the dealers work from, so they ordered the wrong part. Fortunately in my case they apparently caught it after the first module faulted during programming. When I asked what the problem was and why they had to replace the same module 5 times the explanation I got is that the part number for the module was mislabeled in the manual. They claimed the part number ended in an"e" and should have ended in an "a" or something to that affect. They blamed Ford but at this point I am not sure what to believe.
