Front Instrument Panel Ready Light

I apologize if this has been addressed before, but I haven't been able to find any info on it. I've looked through the manual as well as this forum and I'm unclear as to the purpose of the "READY" light on the front instrument panel. Seems to always be on.

It means the traction motors are energized and ready to drive. It’s also how you can tell the car is on since you can’t hear an engine idling.

It’s the EV equivalent of having the ignition on in a gas vehicle. It means it’s ready to drive.

Got it, thanks! Just seems a little odd to still say “Ready” when you are driving down the highway.
