I do worry. Not because of their electric vehicles. Rather, because of the obsolete ICE capital that needs to be written off. The Big Three (VW, Toyota, Honda, etc.) are effectively "changing horses in mid stream".
Look at the history of railroads during the transition form steam to diesel electrics. All the old established companies eventually failed. Leaving outsider upstarts like EMD (backed by GM) and General Electric to thrive. (Though today EMD and the GE locomotives have been spun off to other companies like Caterpillar.) It may be the future is Tesla, Rivian and maybe somebody else as American brands.

Again this is posted in the UK section and Ford are considered very different in the UK than the USA. My pennys worth is Ford UK are in a bit of a transformation period in the UK, Fords Mach E is perceived expensive in the UK as it wears essentially a Ford badge, BMW, Merc, Audi even VW generally have nicer and better main dealer setups although Ford do appear to be making improvements. Ford have a fair way to go to level up in the UK to what we consider premium cars of which the mach e has a premium price tag here in the UK and I am not convinced as yet Ford are there in terms of service.

Depreciation of a new car nothing new, mach e essentially just doing the same as other EV's (in the UK), not particularly one way or the other. Buy a new car and thats what happens it doesnt worry me as I expected it.

Having owned some decent motors in my time the mach e does what it does IMO as good if not better than its competition, it looks good, drives well and isnt a effing Tesla.

Enjoy it and dont worry about it

A minor but humorous point. Brits tend to refer to automobiles as motor cars when the Internal Combustion Engine is not a motor. Technically an engine uses fuel to internally produce power while a motor uses an external electrical source to produce power. The term motorcycle is almost universal in the U.S. while it really is an engine-cycle. EVs truly are motor cars. :)

My MME was new July 2022 & bought for £60k, WBAC.com valued it yesterday at £26k with 12000miles….yes I’m also disappointed with the massive drop in value. I also agree that my Ford dealer was extremely poor with MME knowledge. Love the car & touch wood no major issues yet.
