Garage Door Opener

As the European MME has not a garage door opener may you post a picture of it and its location. Maybe I can order one overseas, ship it to me and install it on my MME...
Does it has batteries or is it wired to the car?
Has anybody infos about part number for ordering it or installation guides/infos?
Which frequencies are supported?

It’s built into the sun visor and is wired to the car.

The opener is Homelink technology. You need an opener compatible with Homelink, or a device that receives that signal and converts it.

In Ford vehicles, there is a recess in the visor that fits a module connected to the car's wiring. If you have a lit vanity mirror on the visor, the wiring is there. Feel for the recess.

You can buy an entire visor, or retrofit a module that you buy for $30 on Ebay. I have done that on a 2013 F-150 and a 2018 Fusion Energi. Looks factory, lots of instructions and videos. I can provide further info if needed.

A quick Google search shows US and European frequencies are different. Make sure you figure out what frequency your opener uses, and then if there are visors in your market that work, and then if there are modules that are available new or used for that technology. You can see where the module goes from the picture, see if you can feel the outline of a compartment. After opening the fabric (easy), you cut out the compartment (easy), and fit the module, then wire it to the vanity mirror wires.
