We are in the death throes of an industrialized society and moving on to a new economic structure. There are going to be problems. We can either direct our policies so as to attempt to mitigate societal damage while moving towards a better post-industrial system, or we can fight the inevitable change and leave our grandchildren's grandchildren with the consequences of our failure to act.
