I received Ford Power Up 3.6.2 a few days ago. This one included improving the accuracy of the GOM. Two weeks ago I put my MME into storage. The temperature inside was approximately 50 degrees. The outside temperature was about 20 degrees. About a week ago I checked up on the condition of the vehicle and it indicated an SOC of 77% with a distance to empty at 192 miles. Today it indicated a distance to empty of 209 miles at the same SOC of 77%. I understand the issues of a GOM reading, but this was a surprise. Could it be the change in temperatures or something with the new logarithm? I have an MME Premium AWD with the ER battery.

3.6.2 resets the driving history and, at least for me, shows a very optimistic distance, basically summer-time (about 3 miles/kWh). What's interesting, that when battery SOC went down to 20%, the distance became pretty reasonable for my standard battery, a little more than 30 miles. But after charging, it went up again, 180 miles for 90%. My (conspiracy) theory is that the new algorithm was designed to prevent people from complaining about a wrong (or broken) battery in winter. :p
