Just traded in my 21 Premium AWD Ext for a 2024 GT Bronze with the Performance Upgrade to take advantage of the 0% financing and insane rebates. In total, I received $7500 in rebates, as opposed to the 1k over MSRP I paid in 2022. Loved my previous MME but the Magneride is awesome and increased torque is a game changer.

I am about to do something similar. I have a 21 Preimum and have been happy (other than a couple of repair bumps). My weekly drive gives me a bit of a range issue in the winter and I use BC extensively so I am thinking of getting a 25 GT with the heat pump, upgraded BC and, of course, all the GT stuff.

I'm now waiting to see what the Ford dealer will do for me on the 2024 MAch-E in EG they have. I am sure I will get killed on my trade in value, but maybe i will get lucky..

Yeah, I took a shot myself, and there's just not enough incentives to eat up the negative equity. I don't recall the last time I bought a vehicle that had the bottom fall out so quickly before. I'm not about that $750 a month life. Not sure if leasing has any better options either.

It’s all EVs. The lease option worked for me as I negotiated a fixed monthly price for the car. At the end I’ll decide what to do. If it’s underwater, I’ll let it go back. But additionally I decided this route as I suspect in 3 years the changes will be compelling enough to want to upgrade.

You live and you learn, I suppose. If things don't turn around with the resale values of EVs, my next one will be my first ever vehicle lease.

Typically, I hold on to my vehicles until they're paid off, but I also like having shiney new toys. With the seemingly faster evolution of most EV platforms, it's even more difficult for me to justify keeping one for more than a few years. So far I've been mostly happy with my '23 premium MME, but the GT and Rally upgrades are very tempting.

With the payment I put down on my MME, I'd have positive equity in any other ICE vehicle, even with the initial depreciation. Not so much with the MME. Not complaining too much, but it does sting a bit. Here's hoping that new and more attractive incentives open up for the EV market in the coming years.

Bit late here, but have to ask. Since you went from Premium to a 2024 GT, how are you with the seats (carry overs from now-dead PE trim if I’m right)?

Particularly the fixed headrests?

Forgot to add. The resale is terrible. It was $70,000 and now with only 21,000 miles it’s worth $26,000.

I just traded my 2021 GT-PE on a 2024 GT. I got a good bit less than $26K for mine but more than some people on the forum have reported. Were I to sell it outright I probably would have gotten $26K but it wasn’t worth my time to try to sell it. ?‍?

So after around 6 months of ownership of my 2024 Eruption Green Mach E Premium, I decided to take advantage of the crazy incentives and trade it in. While I've been very happy with the car up until this point, I always had the nagging feeling that I should have made another decision....

On a whim I looked at my dealer's website and saw they had a 2024 Eruption Green Mach E GT coming in from the factory and long story short... I've switched up for the same exact model and color, just GT vs Premium. Of course I love the speed difference along with the styling but I think my favorite change has to be the suspension. Magneride is a game changer and I no longer notice the rear end "bounce" that was so noticeable in the premium. It came with the flower power wheels which I have switched out for some Nite Pony package wheels from Ford along with some CrossClimate2 tires.

I like them. The premium seats are definitely better for bigger folk and easier to keep clean. So far the headrests aren’t an issue but I haven’t taken any long drives yet

Thanks! Hear great things about the GTPE seats, but wasn’t sure about the non-removable headrests, particularly when I want to stretch my neck a bit before laying the seat flat for a rest. Will have to try them in person sometime to get a feel.
