Just over 31,000 miles and 3 rotations every 10,000, 2 of my original tires were definitely ready for replacement and would not have passed the annual inspection in July. The other 2 were good for maybe another 5000 but I like to buy a complete set. The quote from my neighborhood tire shop was $ 1376 final cost. Ordering through Goodyear.com , choosing the very same shop to do the work and using a promo code from the shop employee that gave me the quote was $979 final cost. New shoes and saved $400 !!
I'll come back with a review on these tires after I drive my 70 mile per day commute for a few days. For now, I can just admire them in the driveway.
Week 1 : Smooth ride and barely audible road noise. Range hit wasn't bad, maybe used 7 or 8 miles more each day than normal. I don't know kwh from kiwi fruit or percentages from pineapples.
Today I was able to make a "rolling stop " 90 degree left turn combo from a side road onto the main road ( to get ahead of a chain of oncoming traffic ) with a slightly aggressive punch to the go-pedal midway through the turn and it was a beautiful maneuver. All grip and no slip. Let's do that again !!
