Disclaimer: I did search the forum for opinions on these tires, but only found comments by people considering them and others.
So, I've had my '22 GTPE for almost two and a half years. I work from home and do not roadtrip much, so I only have 11,800 miles on it.
That said, even though I'm a fairly tame driver, the the Pirelli P-Zero Elects that came on it are about done. I know. I know. Their summer performance tires. They're expected to wear a lot faster than All-Seasons, etc.
....but DAMN!!!!
So, it's time to look for replacements. I've been looking at a lot of the same tires that many others have been looking at, but I have not seen a lot of opinions on the Goodyear ElectriDrive 2. Does anyone have any experience with these?
Here are my plans/requirements:
I'm also getting a 20% off friends and family discount from Goodyear.......

Here are my plans/requirements:
- Increase width from 245/45/20 to 255/40/20 (I'll use Forscan to update the circumference for speed/range calculations, etc.)
- Electric Vehicle Tuned
- Noise Reduction Tech (the insulation in the tires)
- I live in Florida, so ice and snow are not a concern, but we do get rain every afternoon in the summer, so good wet traction is a plus.
- Little, if any, negative impact on range. I think moving from Summer performance tires may actually have a positive impact on range, but that may be countered by buying slightly wider tires.
I'm also getting a 20% off friends and family discount from Goodyear.......
