Just got same production date as you guys, week of 9/26, although I ordered on 5/18. Would really love to be the "get away car" for my daughter's wedding on 10/16 but it's not looking good....

Yeah, I have a production week on my GT-PE of 9/26 after reserving and converting the reservation to an order on 4/27. Not likely I'll see it much before Thanksgiving. I don't think my mom will survive that long, given what the doctor said last week. I hope she does, just to get a ride in the thing.

What indicates acceptance by Ford? I've had two emails, one with details of my order, and then, almost a month later, this one -

That is the acceptance from Ford. An order number is the start. Wait a week or so and check with your salesman for your vin number. That way you can track your car.

With all the info. available I understood the wait for a Production date could be 60-90 days. Ford also didn’t state any time intervals for updates in the FAQs I read. Frustrating for some, expected for others I suppose. Your cancellation is someone’s good fortune so it works out.

It’s 98 days and counting for me since my order was accepted by dealer. Crickets. It’s most definitely not 60-90 days.

Did you get any email from Ford or the dealer? I was about to ask the same question on this forum. We placed an order a month ago, and haven't receive any email from Ford.

I got my order number about 4 weeks after we ordered ours.
however, its a hit or miss though.

Yes it is. Contact your salesman in a few weeks to see if a vin number has been assigned.

I ordered my Mach e Premium on 6/13/2021. I just received a scheduled for production date 9/26/2021.
So it's taking around 44-45 days from order to scheduled for production, for a Premium AWD extended range version

Did you get any email from Ford or the dealer? I was about to ask the same question on this forum. We placed an order a month ago, and haven't receive any email from Ford.

The dealer only emailed me immediately after I'd placed my order, when they accepted it. Nothing at all since.

I'm trying very hard not to check my email every few minutes looking for the status update from Ford... and still doing it.

Maybe they are short on standard batteries, or light interior materials, or something else - but still no updates.

Aren't Thursdays the big - 'got a date' date? I was hopeful I'd see something either in email or on the Ford site... but no luck.

I had order acceptance for a Dark Matter Grey Premium AWD Extended back on 4/30/21 and still haven't heard anything, except generic marketing emails from Ford, and an occasional text from my sales rep that they're waiting, too. I'm just accepting at this point that there's no particular rhyme or reason to when the production Gods deign to give me a vehicle... maybe a Thanksgiving present?

For me, it was 42 days after dealer acceptance, 46 days after order placement.
