GPS turns on by itself

Anyone else have this issue? I don't use the built in GPS as I use Android Auto. About once a month when I turn on the car the built in GPS will announce the next turn and has some route that I never entered. I have to go into navigation then turn it off... It's just annoying... Am I the only one?

Yes happened to me twice recently. I figured car was in the middle of a background update which usually makes weird things happen.

This happened in the 60 minutes we were eating dinner so I doubt it was a background update but who knows.

In the settings of the Ford Nav program there is something like suggested drives based on your driving history. Go look around in the settings and you can turn it off. Sorry I can't remember exactly what it's called and my car is in the shop at the moment.

I had that turned off I will check to see if it got turned back on like the back seat alarm always seems to get turned back on after a update.

Yeah I’ve had the frequency of this go up a ton in the last week or two. I assume a recent update is the culprit.
