I know the truth. Don't play their game. Autox is a sham. They are all cheaters. You are just $$$ to them.
I've been in the SCCA and autocrossing for over 17 years now and I have no idea what this is trying to say.

I ask these questions seriously because I'd like to understand what you're implying:
What is the game?
Who are the cheaters? Other competitors? Organizers?
Who is "them" and what money? Is there some shady organization out there raking in $$ from people autocrossing? Because it sure as hell isn't our SCCA region. Our events barely break even.

There are MANY different clubs and organizations that run autocross events. I have no doubt that some are better than others, but I still can't picture any nefarious intent behind any of them. But I'd love to hear more if there are certain groups to avoid for whatever reason.

The cheaters are everyone at Bremerton Motorsports Park. They know who they are. The game is they "forget" or "lose" your time slip if you are faster than the race organizers and their friends.

I mean, OK. It's shitty that that one location (and whoever runs is) appear to be crappy people and not run a fun event - but you really don't need to reply to as many of the autox threads you can find about your bad experiences with that one organization. "They" may know who they are - but I can almost promise you they're probably not the ones reading any of this here. You've replied to a couple of my autox threads as well and it's, honestly, just not relevant. Please stop.

So this is track specific. Then they are not “all cheaters.” Sorry you have been soured by one venue that isn’t run correctly. ??

Back in the day a friend went all the way to the SCCA E-SP National Championship and he wasn’t nearly as “connected” as some of the competitors. SCCA has always run a tight ship, as a championship is worthless without a good rule book and regard for the rules. ??

So you're bitter about one specific organizing group... got it... That is relevant to anyone posting about any other club how? All of my local clubs run digital timing that is available for all to see through the timekeeping software's website. Near impossible to "lose a time slip" that way.

Looks like fun!

My wife did not used to be a car person — though I partially have the MachE to thank for that changing. One of my proudest moments was when she mentioned completely out of blue that it would be fun to do some sort of autocross/track event with our car. I still need to make that happen.

AutoX is a lot of fun with my GTPE. Consistently.

Do not bother trying a real track day. One fast lap (each of 3 sessions) and my GTPE power was cut by 50%. That's right, 50% jail bars. It was embarrassing. And this was a "track night" when it was cool out. Did not matter what mode, not even unbridled "extend". What a joke.

I used to autoX... and TSD rallies in my younger days.
I learned alot from veteran participants that enabled me to apply car control and alertness.

How does the MME perform in stock trim?

Depends on which trim, I imagine (though they're all in the same SCCA class for some reason). Mine does a LOT better than I'd expect for a 5000 lb fatty. I had the fastest raw time and PAX this past weekend and am usually top 5-ish PAX on my off weekends. Best tires I could find (for the money) are the Bridgestone Potenza Sport. They're OK but nothing like a good set of 200 TW tires.

Depends on the course layout. A small technical course it's a sled and a Miata will be 10 seconds faster.

If Unbridle Extend doesn't work for some reason, it's a mess with the chattering ABS brakes.

This.

Only a handful of EVs can handle a track day.
