Help - Ford Mobile Charger Amber Light.

Hello forum mates,

It has been a little over six months and here we are. I can use you help.

I have started to get the Amber light coming on when charging the vehicle. During this time the charge rate is drastically reduced. What was normally a 4-hour charge is now showing closer to 7 hours.

I found the picture below from another forum post and this is what I have going on.

The Questions…

• First can I continue to charge the car with this light on, is there any danger? While it is not ideal it is better than no charge.
• What can I do to fix the problem? Do I need another mobile charger from Ford?
• Can you please recommend a home charging station that will take my installed 14-50 NEMA 50 amp with the ground plug at the top. Ideally one I can simply plug in and will not required another electrical visit.

I just switched to a GrizzlE for the same reason! You can try setting up a fan to blow directly on it, worked for me!

Everything I have seen said you should use the Hubble instead of the Leviton.
