Regarding the heated seats, would someone with a Mach-E in their driveway tell me how well they work and how high up the back of the seats they heat (none, lumbar area, up to shoulders, etc)? Thanks much!

Haven't had them on for several months here in NJ, but we both love the heated seats....they warm up fast and do go up the back......I don't think up to the shoulders (if I remember correctly).....when we had the c max we always used the heated seats and many days did not need to use the heat at all......it was a must for us in the mach e and I was very disappointed when they did not come standard, so we added the com/appear pkg to our Select model in order to get them.......the heated seats do not seem to affect battery range like the a/c or heat does......

Cold front came through so we just tested the seats. The seat bottom is heated in the main central panel of ventilated Active-X. The seat back is very well heated through the lumbar and continues all the way up to just above my shoulder blades (I’m 5’11”).

I live in Northern NY. It was snowing while I was at work Friday morning and it was 38° F when I got up today. So I have been using the hell out of my heated seats. They heat up pretty quickly. They get WAY too hot (remote start sets them to level 3 out of 3 when it’s cold out and you have the remote start auto climate set. I have to turn it down to 1 out of 3 as soon as I get in).
As far as coverage, it’s up to about mid thoracic spine. Just a little below the shoulder blades. Plenty of heat for my poor old low back.
