My car received a software update overnight and this morning I had the "Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power" alert. It is a Dec 2022 Select AWD with only 3753 km on it.

I forgot about this poll until now. I re-cast my vote to SVS even though I got an SSN later. ?‍♂?

Are you getting a “Service Vehicle Soon” or “Stop Safely Now” warning on the dashboard display? I ask because sometimes updates freak out the modules and they falsely report errors when they see other modules go offline. A key cycle and some time rectifies those occasions (I had a similar event recently without the SVS or SSN). ??

When I turned on the vehicle this morning, it said Service Vehicle Soon. I looked up the alert on my phone which said it was the Powertrain issue. I haven't even ever charged the vehicle on a fast charger - only from home on my level 2 to 90% - since receiving it. I'm sincerely hoping it is a false alert at less than 4000 km on the odometer. I can't contact the dealership on the weekend anyway so let's see what happens in the next couple of days. Thanks for the heads up that it may be false.

Very happy to say that you were correct. The warning disappeared when I restarted my car later last night. What a relief! Thanks for the heads up.
