Has anyone gone through the process in the UK? Care to share how long it took etc?

Our 21.5 AWD SR came up with the SVS messages and went in to garage Friday 1st Dec. No parts in the country. Order from Germany.

Spoke to them today, the module has arrived this morning, but there's no wiring harness or bolts. They're still in Germany!

Hire car through Enterprise is an absolute shed of a Subaru SUV, awful car. Xmas coming up, not impressed.

Sorry to hear you’ve had issues

I broke down on Oct 20th with a HV Battery Warning and a Stop Safely Now. Flat bed recovered to dealership after 9hrs on the side of the road - and she’s still there now (55 days and counting)

Also in a hire car, and was initially given a chuffing huge petrol Volvo Estate. After the first month I asked If it could be changed for something electric and ended up with a BMW i3. Needless to say I’m desperate to get mine back too!

All the main parts for Mach-E seem to come from Germany and that has been the issue with my repair. The bits sure do take a while to be sourced and shipped.

Have you been in touch with Ford Customer Relations Centre? If you do they will assign a case manager who will help chase things along and can sometimes speed things up. Plus they will pay for petrol costs on hire car if you have the receipts.

While initially mine was suspected HVBJB they have ended up replacing the 5kW Auxiliary heater for the battery coolant/HVAC system as well as the 12v battery.

Hoping to get mine back any day - but that’s dependent on them not finding anything else.

Good luck !

Thanks for your reply! 55 days and multiple issues, that's really poor from Ford.

They've just rang me now to say the part that has arrived is wrong and will have to start the order process again. They said they have another MachE in, that's been waiting three weeks and that also has had the wrong part turn up.

I have a Ford Customer Service rep, they've told the garage I'm in line for "compensation" when this is all over. We'll see.

It's super amateurish. Ford know these 2021 cars are all going to go wrong at some point. Why can't they keep a stock of parts in the country?

I've owned various cars and pickups in the past, mainly VW. None have needed more than basic servicing until they got over 100K miles. Never had an issue with engine or transmissions.

Between this and the bumpy ride, I wish I'd brought a Tesla, the new Model 3 gets good reviews ....

My First edition had the issue back in Aug 22 and took around 4 weeks for repair, once they got the part it was just under 2 weeks to replace and get the car back, it went to Ford Dunton in Essex as my local dealer didn't have the battery lift to perform the repair. Since the repair have had no issues. just make sure you call the UK Bev team to assist with delays in parts etc contact them on 01327 306616 option 6

I had my Mach-e GT repaired already following the relay fault and the stop safely now message. It took about 8 weeks. I had the car back, and within 4 weeks and 400 miles after the first relay repair, it happened again - exactly the same problem. I have not even been given a hire car this second time. There is no sense of urgency from Ford Customer Services (Mach E Team) or the Dealership.
13,000 miles on the car and just coming up to 2 years old. At the moment, the car has been dead for 3 weeks, and still waiting to find a garage that will accept it and work on it. In the mean time, I'm having to rent my own vehicle. Ford will not provide a loan vehicle until the fault has been diagnosed by the garage, even though its obvious what the problem is.

Anyone else got pictures of there Mach-e's on recovery vehicles. I have 2 !

Right now, I'd rather see it in a crusher.
