And if your original order was before December 8th you are no longer price protected and will pay the higher prices that went into effect then.

I learned when I ordered mine that the change of battery puts you to the back of the line. Changing anything but my battery and I would have kept my place.

I have a relationship with my dealer. They actually took $2,000 ADM off of the car. I have my price on my order with the deposit

at 2 mins to 3 min mark. You are supposed to be locked into origional pricing.

This was in response to lawman1108 when he said he changed his entire order. If he had kept his original order made before Dec. 8th he would be price protected but because he changed everything after Dec. 8th then he ends up with the prices in effect after that date.

Is this actually true? I ordered Aug 4, 2021 and got the email from Ford saying they were giving us $750 to cover any cost increases when my order was converted to a 2022. Of course, the new price went up significantly more than that, so it would be nice to get the old price.

There was 2 prices increases for 2022. One for the initial conversion, and another in december. IMO the price protection should've been for the initial 2022, so you still get the cash rebate. My dealer ended up giving me my 2021 price, and the rebate still applied. so i dunno. all i know is, i'm not paying that december increase.
