Exactly, ive done so much research on my own vs what ive been told by Ford ect. I have a giant binder filled with articles and research papers pertaining to everything from lithium mining to recycling.

It’s not just the app. It seems to be enabled from the server side I presume sometime after you have a certain software update on the car. It just showed up for me about a month ago, and it wasn’t after any updates (on either the car or phone).

Thank you. I called BEV spoke to Gregory and they had no clue what preconditioning was.
I use level 1 and have had conflicting answers. Yes level 1 will precondition and No level 2 will not.
Frustration mounts.

For the iPhone, open the App Store, search FordPass, select the FordPass app page. The page will have a button that says open or update. My app says version 5.9.0, 1 week ago.

Your car also has to have the right APIM software level. My 2024 (September production) does not. So, my FordPass 5.9.0 does not have this option. ??

That’s nuts. Every model should have this feature from the app to control climate in the vehicle. My 2021 Premium eAWD does not either.
