I have a '25 with a cracked driver side inner tail light. If I were to buy a used replacement, can I buy from any model year, or does the '25 require a tail light from that year?

I believe the taillights on the 2024 and 2025 have the same part numbers.

I continued looking and found out that there are differences with the flash pattern from the '25 vs previous years. Someone posted a video of their hazard lights on, and it was immediately noticeable. I guess I'll have to buy new, or really make sure I buy a used '25.

does anyone know if there's a 3rd party (aka cheaper) alternative to RJ8Z-13405-A:

look on ebay. I have a cracked inner taillight like you, and several members pointed to ebay. Even used, I couldn't bring myself to pay $250 for a used one, so I sealed the crack with clear silicone. Obviously I don't see it while driving, and it isn't overly noticeable.

Here's that thread. My picture in the last post is not how I left it. I reapplied the silicone and smoothed it out with a wet finger, and painted the border black. It looks ok.

Unfortunately water has gotten into the light, and it no longer works. I will keep an eye on eBay, though.

i saw mine filled with water, but it still worked. I drilled a tiny hole at the bottom for the water to drain. Good luck.

I did the same thing, but it still failed. Going to check some local junkyards to see if I get lucky.
