It annoys you with pointless notifications of places the car thinks you have gone.

But isn't there an option for that in the navigation settings? Like "disable suggested destinations?

In that case, what "intelligent suggestions" other than that do I lose?

When you go to turn it off it will tell you what all other features it turns off as well. I personally hate it, I don't think its ever recommended correctly. In fact the majority of the time it recommends places that I've never even been to, or even been remotely around. However I liked some of the other options tied to it, so I've left it on.

Another annoyance is the fact it will notify when I have the car in reverse. When the cameras are on it won't show anything else on screen. So I'll hear the alert, then I'll hear a warning about 6 minutes of traffic but have NO idea what address it put in for me.

I like the idea of it, but like a lot of the software, it was implemented very poorly.

With this setting on, you'll see a list of suggested actions in your profile page on the car. Top row, just to the right of your profile image/icon.

With it off, you won't see those. Instead you see a pony.

The profile page is the one you see when you touch your top center icon in the big center (SYNC) display.
