I never updated to iOS 26.3 after seeing the posts here stating people were having issues with PAAK.
Has anyone with those issues updated to 26.4 and if so any issues?
No substantive issues with either. If I haven’t used PAAK for several days (but my wife has) I sometimes have to log back into the app.

I have one issue with it - the answer call button on the steering wheel no longer works after the iOS update. Pretty frustrating, especially since Apple made the answer buttons on the screen tiny. It's dangerous and distracting to have to look at the screen and hit one little button while I'm driving.

Have to confess we always use the verbal command “answer” so I have no idea if the little button works or doesn’t. Do you have voice commands (Siri) disabled ?

I recently had my TCM replaced to address the OP's issues. On the Mach‑E, the “modem” everyone talks about is effectively part of the Telematics Control Module, but Ford often treats them as one service unit even though “TCU” and “modem” are technically different functions in the same connectivity system. Per Perplexity:

How Ford names this stuff
  • Ford documentation and owner help pages call it the embedded modem that you activate via FordPass; that’s the unit that gives the car cellular data, OTA updates, remote start, location, etc.
  • Parts catalogs list “telematics modules” or “phone module telematics cellular mobile control transceiver” which are described as embedded 4G/5G modems for vehicle connectivity.
  • On forums and in service talk for the Mach‑E, failures of the “TCU module” are exactly what cause FordPass connectivity loss, remote start not working, “vehicle offline,” etc., so people (and some techs) just say “the modem is dead.”
So for your Mach‑E
  • Functionally: if someone says “your modem is dead,” they’re talking about the telematics/TCU assembly that handles cellular connectivity to Ford’s servers.
  • Electrically/architecturally: the telematics control module includes the cellular modem hardware and related control logic, so they’re closely linked even if the exact internal split is more nuanced.
Practically, if you need a part replaced or diagnosed, you’d be asking the dealer to check/replace the telematics (TCU/modem) module for FordPass/connectivity, not a separate “modem” box

On Friday 3/6, my phone updated to 26.3.1, and immediately after the update, all communication ceased between the app and my 2025 GT. No app, no Bluecruise, and even some of the advanced Adaptive Cruise features like stop and go, all stopped working. Ford Pass even says I have now been parked in the same place for the last 19 days, haha!

I took it to the dealership, and they confirmed that the modem is no longer working, and it needs to be replaced. 3-5 business days for the module to arrive, and another trip to the dealership for a 3-4 hour install.

I understand that it is statistically possible that the modem could just so happen to die at the same moment the update was installed, but I still have my doubts.

All for the convenience of modern technology!

Thank you for your feedback, and you are exactly correct. The "by the book" procedure to diagnose my Mach E was for the dealership to purge all of the software from the car's modules, then reinstall all of the software, to see if the TCU would then "reboot". They determined that the modem was no longer communicating, and subsequently ordered a replacement TCM about a week ago.

The replacement has arrived, and I'm scheduled to return tomorrow morning to have it installed. I'm really looking forward to having the app, Bluecruise, and some of the advanced adaptive cruise control functions again. While adaptive cruise still works, the advanced functions (stop and go, "better" lane centering, etc) all stopped when the modem stopped communicating.
