We have a 2022 Mach-E California Route One

My iPhone (11 Pro) was setup with FordPass when we purchased our Mach-E but it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth on my phone and on my husband’s Android.

Additionally, when I can use it, I can only do the horn vs use my phone to do windows, turn on/off, and open trunk/frunk.

My phone and my husband’s phone both have problems staying connected with the car while driving (Apple and Android Auto Play) and actually charging while on the wireless charger. Sometimes neither of us (at separate times - not in car at same time) can even get Apple or Android Play to work at all and have to reply on Ford Sync for GPS.

I’ve tried resetting and following directions for connectivity issues but nothing has helped.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Set each up as a “phone as a key” again but first go to the car menu and “reset all phone as a keys”. As well as remove FordPass from each phone (note your user and password) And restart the phones. Make sure you have a Fob before you do this. When you set up again, have a fob in the car. That should enable all the connections and Give you all the controls. But I still recommend you use the fob. It only takes a few minutes.

one other thought is to make sure your phone is linked to your “profiles” and make sure your profiles are assigned . That way it connects to your phone and saves all of your settings every start.

Thank you so much. It worked and I also linked my phone to my profile

Another question- do you know why the wireless phone charger pad only works sporadically? I can never figure when it will work/not work

It’s The size of your phone. You probably have a “max “ phone. You can remove the rubber Pad but make sure your phone has a non-skid case or buy the AOSK felt like replacement that has a larger space for the oversized phones. someone also took a razor and Trimmed off the little rubber ”dam” off the rubber pad which gave enough room for the phone to sit flat.

But also refer to the message below, maybe there is a update. We experienced it with My sons 12 MAX on my Job 1, But it was related to not sitting flat.

enjoy!
