I frequently get compliments, but they usually don't know what it is or who makes it.

Only slights I've heard from anyone were from those who haven't seen it. Anyone who has seen it in person has asked "what car is that?" or "love that new mustang, can I look inside?" I've had to be careful with a few people who were almost pushy to get in my car, lol.

Just hit the “Windows Down” on the FordPass, and let them look in from afar.

I've had this happen too trying to tell people what car to look for me in. I took off the Mach E badges too, so it's really difficult to describe.
