I recently enrolled in a pilot program with my electric service provider, and the program requires that Level 2 charging occur outside of certain periods of the day, depending on season. To make things easy on my wife, and because I have a "dumb" Grizzl-e EVSE, I have scheduled all charging by the Mach-E between 7:00pm and 7:00am, which meets program rules no matter the season. This had me thinking what events might erase my charging schedule, as 3 charging sessions in the blackout period would forfeit my incentive. Are the charging schedules created and saved in the Mach-E and FordPass app saved into the cloud? If my car visits a dealership and is reinitialized, will I lose my schedule? Are there any other scenarios where a charging schedule may be lost?

I had some software updates applied at my dealer today and it wiped out all of my charging locations and schedules. So it can happen.

Thanks, I was afraid that would be the answer.

Which demonstrates the programming is stored in the car, not the cloud.

Agree. I'm a little surprised since the settings sync between the car and the app, but it appears like that's not the case.

The schedule is saved and executed by the vehicle. There are several conditions where the car will charge outside the schedule. I list those conditions in a thread I created a while back. Search for "My car didn't charge last night" or something similar to that phrase.
