Is the "self parking" feature gone forever?

My car has it and I have never used it - well I did once when I first got the car just to see it work. It's not a feature I care about. - and in most cases using it would be more hassle than just parking.

Now the "go find your own parking spot then come back to me when I call" feature Audi promoted a few years ago might be nice...

Before I even tried the feature because the button is there, I had read that it’s been taken away so when I push mine, it brings up like a map or addresses. I’m not sure exactly what that is places I parked before I don’t know, but it definitely doesn’t Southpark. It just brings up that list of addresses.

Let’s say I had the missing park assist module for my 22 Mach E. Is it something that would be easy to install myself? Anyone know where it goes or can point me to instructions on how to do it? I cannot find information on it anywhere.
