Just checking - Has anyone used FordPass Rewards Points for down payment?

Ditto on all that. I’ve already made my down payment but I was wondering what I could do with them and what they’re worth.

At first I thought so as well..but I see that it says you can use them for your next car purchase. I was wondering just how much they are worth and if anyone has done it yet.

I've redeemed them for wheel locks, first aid kit and road hazard kit. I had almost 40,000 points (bought four new tires from Ford) and after redemption had 9,000 left. On my Ford Rewards VISA I have earned 14,757 points in November, 17,152 points in December and 31,886 points in January. I don't expect my car until May or June so I may try to use them (and Feb., March and April points) for down payment (also want a second FOB). See other posts for their value.

when I used my points for my emergency tire replacement not long ago, it showed on the receipt as equivalent to a credit card charge line item - meaning it looked basically the same as if I paid that amount with a different card than the one I used. I took that as a good sign. but we'll see!
