Key Fob Recognition

I tried searching if this topic has been addressed previously, but could not find a thread.

Yesterday I noticed that my car no longer recognizes me approaching with the key fob to light up or unlock the doors. I have to physically hit the unlock button on the fob. I do not use phone as a key. It has not had a problem recognizing the key when I start the car or drive, just approaching.

Is it possible a setting was changed with an update or I mistakenly changed a setting.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have had the same problem for months now. Every now and then my welcome lights do not "welcome" me. I too have not changed any settings. They are still the same as always. It's a mystery to me and to my dealer.

I have had a lot of updates lately and sometimes when I approach the car it seems to be asleep and I just push the door button to wake it up. I don’t use PAAK either. This morning it was back to normal and no settings were changed.
