Hey there guys,

i am sharing a small update.

I dropped the car to Athens local repair shop, after Ford instructed them to check some cabling.
The inspection didn't provide anything new so they are waiting for more instructions.

The good thing here, is that they did a 12V recall, and updated all available module updates (IPC, and 2 more) which fixed the issue that Traction Control couldn't get disabled. Fun fact, The IPC update one came OTA just the same day going to the repair shop.

I informed them about this, and they ve already ordered a right side sensor (even there was no DTC errors). They told me that the part is only on the right side of the car. Is that true? Can I check the parts of the car with my VIN number? I can't believe the antenna is only on the right side.

Last but not least, i asked the repair shop to check/change these antennas/sensors, and if nothing happen maybe check the GWA to be faulty and replace if needed...
There is an antenna on both sides of the vehicle, one in each rocker panel

I think the first picture confirms that is one of these PATS modules installed, as those pictures show an RH and LH which means this present when cars are LH or RH.

I left the car today for this replacement, will update the thread once i have news.

I think you are misunderstanding the diagram because those are antennas that the module uses for approaching

I got the car back in the afternoon.

The welcome lights, keyless entry, and all other button-unlocking issues were resolved.

They replaced the antenna on the passenger (right side) rocker panel and performed some module checks. Most of the car’s modules indicate that they were last updated today in the Ford Service Info.

Thank you, @EMachE, for bringing the rocker sensor to my attention, and thank you to everyone who has offered to help me.

I will wait a bit to see if the resolution persists, and I will update you accordingly.

After a full year of back-and-forth, all the issues have been resolved. I believe our local repair shops are either unaware of the proper procedures for fixing Ford EVs or are indifferent to learning them.

I absolutely love my car but I can’t even imagine what would happen if I had a serious problem with it.
