Laptop charging from MME?

It will slowly charge a MacBook Pro when the computer is turned off.

Maybe you’re head is still stuck on the factory USB-C outlet. I’m referring to a 12V adapter.

60W USB-C PD adapter is enough to charge my 13” and 14” MacBook Pro while in use. I’ve done it many times before. It may struggle to charge the 16” models but that’s an assumption, not fact.

It can also charge my wife’s Dell 7400 2-in-1 work PC that is powered by USB-C.

Now it puzzles me Ford didn’t put a single 120v outlet in the MME… would have been great.

But like @markboris, the USB-C outlet is nowhere near enough to charge a MacBook Pro.

I’d recommend this 12v adapter with your OE MacBook Pro cable to use and charge in the car.
