Hi All,
I recently got an over the air update - this particular version updated the 3 icons at the top of the display to be more ‘modern’. I noticed that when in reverse, I cannot toggle the camera to the 3-split view - the button for it is not responsive. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thanks!

It still works just takes a long time to start. (roughly 30 seconds). The update is 6.14. I got it a couple of weeks ago. It's made the system very slow. The panoramic view now takes about 30 seconds after you hit the button for it to start. Really annoying. Hopefully they fix it in a future update.

have you rebooted sync4 since the update? Mine was laggy after 6.14 but a reboot resolved it. Volume down and track forward for 10(?) seconds.

Confirmed the delay on the rear camera toggle - I guess about 30 seconds. Interestingly, tested it when stopped at a light and toggle was immediate (for both front and rear camera toggles). Just slow upon start-up (I think).

The version I have now is 6.14.0 - so I guess it goes to 6.15.0 and then 7.0.0?

I guess I'm still waiting for the next update...

Thanks for your feedback

Bummer that the Sync Salute doesn't resolve this

The APIM update isn’t a numbered OTA. It’s one with those random letters and dashes. If you just got 6.14.0, you will likely see it in a week or two. It might even be a silent update. I have manually commenced two OTA updates since my last one listed in the FP app and they neither show in history nor have I gotten a notification that they were applied. FDRS indicates that they are current. ??

It‘s a a bit scarry that the QA dept didn’t catch this particular bug. The lack of a wide view in the rear is not an insignificant issue when one has come to rely on that to make sure there are no joggers or dog walkers or other cars as you are backing out of a driveway… I mean, before this technology existed, there were likely more accidents due to this kind of visibility issue. So the bug reduces saftey somewhat… as someone out there is not going to compensate by being extra careful and turn around to check each side (like we all used to do) and I bet of the thousands of Mach E drivers, there’s already been a mishap as a result.
