Liftgate Opens Accidentally?

I bet you guys with this issue need a BCM update.

i'll have to take a look with FRDS again sometime but before the car was at the dealer service last time, i think i only had an off board charger update and 4 door modules showing. the dealer claimed they did all of those, but i never checked to make sure they were telling the truth.

it's been more than a month so maybe a BCM update appeared. but in response to the tailgate opening itself into my closed garage door, i just turned off the automatic lift gate in the settings. hasn't happened since. 23GTPE so no kick sensor.

nope, never had one. so far have not had any “wrench” warnings. knock wood.

I don't have the kick liftgate, confirmed.

Now an unrelated issue -- my driver's side headlight is out!

I am contacting the dealer first thing tomorrow.
