Lights on door buttons

I had a very interesting problem yesterday. I picked up my friend in the evening and it was very dark. He couldn’t find the button on the rear door.
My question is: Can you turn on the lights on the door buttons from the panel?

I tried that but the button lights don’t go on.

Same here, tried to hit the lock/unlock button but the light on the door buttons doesn't switch on...

Any other suggestions cos I couldn't figure it out as well... ?

I'm having the same problem. On three doors I see the little halo around the button but not on one door. I can open the door with out a problem but no light. Is it time for a dealer visit?
