I have clunking from the front. The 2 link kits and one outer tie rod need to be changed. I usually do work on my own cars but am apprehensive of working on this my first (new to me) electric car

they are quoting over a $1000 including g parts and alignement. Seems like a huge rip off as parts can’t be more than $200 and an hour - 2 hour job max.
I expect to be ripped off at a dealer but is this excessive?

Dealership labor is always expensive. Depending on where you get the parts, you're pretty close on for pricing. If you think you can do the work, do it and save yourself the money.
