Remember, you’re talking about a manufacturer who blocked off an entire charging station for some YouTuber ?
How did I miss that? Do you have a link?

Five seconds full auto. Then the rate of fire drops to semiautomatic…
Wait - that’s a GUN? I thought it was a charge port based on the original post!

Does anyone here really think a Tesla owner will not freak out over a Chevy Bolt being at one of "their chargers?"

I look forward to the YouTube videos of Tesla Karen's going crazy and demanding non-Tesla owners get out of their spot so they could charge their Tesla. It's going to be a great!
There is just something incredibly aggravating about waiting in line for a Chevy Bolt to charge. Yes, there’s probably an elitist element to it. I know it’s stereotyping, but Bolt owners are a bunch of weirdos.

I think the Teslastans will at least tolerate the MMEs, but there’s gonna be some epic rage against the Bolts. I’m excited for the videos where it dawns on Tesla drivers that Musk just sold off one of their cars’ biggest advantages.

I don’t understand why bolt is being singled out? What about a leaf? Or an electric focus? Or a plug-in fusion? Or a plug-in aviator?

The original post here referenced a post on another forum about a taycan owner confronting a bolt owner who was plugged into a 350kw charger and the subsequent bruhaha about who was right. It snowballed into a Hatfields/McCoys feud because, you know, the internet.

No matter where non-Tesla owners park their cars at Tesla superchargers there will be a lot of unnecessary verbal conflicts. Does anyone here really think a Tesla owner will not freak out over a Chevy Bolt being at one of "their chargers?"

I freak out when there is a chevy bolt :) Or a leaf.

I was once at a 4 stall charger, 2 were broken, and I was behind 3 other bolts. Ughh. it took hours to get out of there.

It is funny that on a Tesla charger the Bolt will charge as fast as a Lucid, or an older Taycan with a 50kw DC-DC converter for 400V chargers.

Ah, thanks. I don’t think we know the entire story. The owner may simply not have understood the distinction, the 350 slot may have been the only one available when they pulled in, the moon could have been in the house of Jupiter, there are endless explanations ?

Not really. They made a wise choice to buy from Tesla with their foresight to invest in charging. Now they will be flooded by people that were not as wise. Ford blew it with the charging and the government blew it. Now the well planned will get swamped by poorly planned. Never good. It will be frustrating for them. I don’t celebrate people being frustrated. Especially because of others mistakes.
I have a mustang gtpe, but am not tribal, I made the same mistake as everyone else.

We all just need to remind them that Tesla took money for us all to be able to use the Tesla superchargers. ?

And we are paying to charge -- probably more than they pay!

As of now none of these are getting Supercharger access.

In the long run, I'm fine with this. I have no objection to paying more for a more reliable, more available option. I only hope there's sufficient incentive to get more networks out there to compete.
