Tesla Charging Adaptor

I'm curious about experiences using the Tesla charging adapters at Tesla charging stations. I live in an area with a LOT more Tesla stations than anything else and most of the anything else is Level 2 charging. Is it worth it to get an adaptor or are most of the Tesla stations going to be their super chargers that the adaptor won't work with anyway?

If you are going on a road trip with hotel stays, then a Tesla destination adaptor will give you more options to charge.

We recently did a 2k mile trip with 2 hotel stays. One hotel only had Tesla destination chargers. The second hotel had 2 destination chargers and only 1 J1772. If we didn't have our Tesla Tap mini 60 amp adaptor then our options to charge overnight were much more limited.
