I would order the one for sale. I decided from all the post that it was going to be a long time before I got the free one. Two days after I got the one I purchased the free one came in. Now I have a spare.

I fortunately don't need the adapter for my typical use. So, I have given up on expecting it to show up in any given month. Now I just check the status for entertainment purposes. I figure it will show up someday when I least expect it.

I submitted my request for the free Tesla supercharger adaptor Ford promised.. over a year ago now.. I remember I got an email indicating there would be a delay…. But I have not heard a thing since then.. is the adaptor still coming?…. excuse me if i missed a post here, but anyone have info regarding if it is still in the works? Thanks!

It took about 10 months but mine finally arrived last week 12/24/24

Order date exaggeration aside, are there people really still waiting from day one orders? I got mine in September after ordering about 4 hours into the window on 2/29/24 and I swear I have seen people who have ordered after that date stating they have gotten one.

Ford has partnered with Lectron to help fulfill the orders on the adapters due to Tesla being so slow to deliver the adapters that Ford ordered from them.

OP, hopefully you get yours soon, don't leave the forum but know that duplicate posts and fuzzy facts usually get a strong response here. I've gotten my hand smacked a few times early on but this is by far the best owners forum for the MME. Tons of information and knowledgeable owners sharing good info.

It is on early March orders now. But something close to 20% of the total orders were placed on day 1.

You should be disipointed in. Ford, They repromised these adapters many times, Tesla droped the ball, I think I ordered mine March 1, got it in. late Nov, tried it at a Tesla. station, and worked, Dont hold your breath, it may come when you least expect it. Make the best of what we got, Cheers!

The forum participants are usually welcoming. However, innumerable threads here on “where is my adapter “ and “sudden loss of range now that it is cold” that the old timers are a little prickly.
That said, after the grumble you got your answer. Stay around, lurk for a while, you learn stuff.

I received my recalled one in June and the replacement in December. Seems like something is wrong in your situation. My order # was 2503.

I just get constant "Charging station fault" messages on my screen. I spent an hour on the phone with Ford. They suspect the adapter is defective based on the evidence.
