Okay, so it's probably going to be about $20k more than a GT so maybe not a particularly fair comparison with the Mach E, but goodness Lotus have done an absolute great job on the design here. Release 2023, oh and a 900bhp model in the works.

Funny how the old Lotus fans are giving it all the same negative comments as Mustang got for the Mach E. I'm all for these smart EV SUV sales earners if it keeps the brand alive though. Hopefully all this new investment from Geely will improve the Lotus build quality/reliability also.

Looks amazing. I do wish they'd made that little piece just under and forward of the top spoiler the same color as the rest of the car. Yes, that would have made it look even more like the Mustang, but I do like the strategic use of black to shape the look and feel of the car.

Weird that the body line is so strong through the door… then doesn’t carry into the front fender. That transition is way too abrupt.
The front end looks amazing. The back end looks great. But that transition makes it look like they took two different cars and photoshopped them together.

The absolutely stunning performance of Lotus Eletre's power tailgate appears to have been inspired by Ford's Active Park Assist, as demonstrated here. ?

Hmmm, 3 year Option "lease" to give Lotus a year to get it in production and a year to find all the things that break (not to fix them, note, that's not Lotus' thing), and maybe add a rear bench seat, and sign me up. I'll take one in Green, please.
