Weather was nice in Northern Virginia, so I decided to do my annual century bike ride on W & OD trail round trip today. Charged my iphone to 100% last night. Last year I was able to get back to my MME with 5% battery to spare on the phone so I didn’t think anything different. I swear by PAAK and am a strict PAAK user since day 1 in February 2022. I guess it sucks to age and I get slower each year. With about 8 miles to go, my iphone died. Already extremely exhausted and came close to bonking a couple times! Panic set in. How am I going to get in the car and drive home? For the remainder of the tour, I’d prayed that backup startup code would work. Never used it before. Finally got to the car, punched in the door code, pressed the power button and the screen to enter the startup code appeared. Thank you, @Ford Motor Company for keeping the door codes on all models after all these years and coming up with the backup startup code for incidences like this! Love it. I know this is trivial but panic was real!

Congrats in completing a century again this year! I’ve only done once - back in the early 80’s - and I know just how hard it is. I hope you do one again before I’m pushing up daisies, time will tell.

And I’m so glad everything worked out with your MME too!

Oh and do really have 71k miles on 2022 car?

OK, I'm not sure which is more impressive: annual century rides or 71K on a 2022...! Well done!

Doing century rides are way more difficult than car rides especially the blue cruise has been doing more than 80% of the driving. I for one can’t wait for BC 1.3.

I couldn't agree more, though at my age long car drives take their toll too... As for BC 1.3, bring it on Ford!

yes!!! Feeling very Lucky!!! We almost cancelled one of our mega road trip last summer when we heard about the the whole you know what and the “not the real solution” recall but we carried on with our trip and got the software recall in the middle of the trip. Kudos to @Ford Motor Company for doing these OTAs instead of trips to the dealers.
