For those that are interested, Borla is now selling limited quantities of their Mach-E Active Performance Sound System for $1,606.99 (self-install). I'm not saying it is or isn't worth it - just mentioning availability.

Am I weird to say none! Our Focus Electric has no artificial sound and I LOVE that it is so quiet! If I could silence the outside sound on our Mach-E I would.

I love the quiet too. Although, I have to admit if I could make it sounds like two halves of a coconut clopping together might just interest me.

It is very easy to silence your MME. You just need to replace the speaker with a resistor so the car thinks the speaker is still connected. I put a volume control on mine, which is a bit harder. I always keep it turned down to silence so really I could have taken the simple approach. Maybe one day I will find a need to turn it up.

I’m buying it just to piss off my buddy that is a “Mustang” snob. Telling him I put an LS3 in it. Supposedly 1k sounds coming. Tie Fighter better be one.

I am glad they posted that. That solution is definitely the easiest thing to do. Others have made their own device, which requires buying the right resistor and connector. The parts are less than $10 if you make one yourself. Personally I think it is worth $50 to make it super easy.
