Hello,

I placed my Mach e Premium AWD ER on 10/25/2021 , When I placed the order the total cost was around 57K but now when I logged in it is showing as 59K. I didnt get any confirmation email from ford or the chosen dealer with my initial price. Do I have to pay 59K now or it will be 57K? Does any one have idea on when can I expect my vehicle to be built?

I placed an order for the same trim on 10/23/21 and had this issue as well. I contacted the dealer to make sure they will honor the original price. Hopefully we will see our Mach-E in the June/July timeframe but you don't know until you get a build date which has not been received.

You should be price protected. Unfortunately you will not know the estimated build date until it is scheduled. I would suggest verifying the price protection with your dealer when you receive the scheduled production notice. Should not be an issue but better to resolve any issues in advance.

There are several threads on this, but the short version is yes, your vehicle is price protected. However, it is up to your dealer if they want to honor that price protection since they are free to charge whatever they want for the car.

Honest dealer would honor the order price.

I spoke to mine (Sun State Ford) and they confirmed old price AND said Ford was penalizing dealers for selling the car to the non-orderer. Ford now wants documented reasons on why the orderer did NOT take delivery.

Don't normalize this, not honoring price protection is fraud plain and simple. They are not free to charge whatever they want, they need to honor the price they quoted you at the time of ordering. They are keeping money that they are not entitled to by refusing price protection, and if this happens you should file a complaint with Ford and your state government. The situation is no different than if they chose not to give you a rebate but kept the money for themselves.
