Ford has been an total disaster with this car and their software engineers/programmers. You would think that a large company with a fleet of software engineers/programmers can figure out how to fix the damn bluetooth and phone as a key problems. I have had my Mach E since January of 2021. The car runs and drives beautifully. As far as their problems with the phone as a key, I remain in now man's land. After four visits to the dealer and all the updates, Ford has yet to resolve any problems. I don't even need to have a key fob or phone anymore to run the car. Am I an outlier? Or other owners experiencing the same problem? Over the air updates...I think they need more help in this department inclusive of at the dealer.
Ford, the factory, is totally useless and has piss poor communication throughout the process. My local dealer has been bending over backwards to help with no avail. How can you expect mechanics to become software engineers and programmers overnight? You cannot blame the dealers on this one. Good job Ford! Look forward to seeing how you keep resolving these issues...Or Not! I must have been mistaken when you were months delayed on the original delivery date of the car in October of 2020 because, "You wanted to make sure the car was 100% right when delivered." (Your words not mine!) You would think since there is such a chip and supply chain shortage with production cutbacks that you would focus on resolving these issues more diligently....
