Mach-e Turning Heads?

Hi Everyone!

Well i must say after last nights experience driving home in Winnipeg, the Mach-e is certainly turning heads and is recognizable! Why you ask well let me tell you!

On our way home through downtown a very drunk / intoxicated individual was relieving themselves on a street sign, saw our vehicle and just had to let it be known! They yelled "Oh look at your fancy mustang!" and proceeded to slap the hood a few times very hard.

Of course being a proponent of electric vehicles and wanting to show them off, we decided a demonstration of how fast they are off the line was in order and proceeded to leave at a very quick 1/4 mile speed.

Now there are a few things which have been learned through this:

1. The Mach-e is very recognizable and fast.
2. Mothers CMX ceramic coating works really well! (i have put on 4 coats, looks like glass)
3. Ford really should have a way to realtime record the cameras to a USB device in the vehicle (similar to tesla)

How soon did you reapply cmx spray coats? I applied one coat about 2 months ago but didn't notice a huge difference in gloss. Debating whether to reapply now or wait until later in the summer

i put on a a coat every car wash for a month, it might not look it, but it does layer a bit. But then again i used to weekly put on coats of wax so

I have had numerous strangers coming up to me and asking about the car in parking lots, even an F-150 driver at a car wash. Most know what it is, but I have had a couple of people ask what kind of car is it?

I live in what is probably the car capital of the country, Southern California. There aren't many cars that aren't common here and it would take a lot more than a Mustang Mach E to turn heads. I get almost no notice.

We have a pretty big car community here, which even has a Sunday Night cruse on our main road Portage Ave were all the new, old and collector cars drive up and down, stop and chat. Its really cool and the Mach-E gets alot of questions and discussion. Since its the middle of the Canadian Prairies there really isn't a large EV count (especially with the -40c weather) but its growing!
