I bought an ex demonstrator 1 year old Mach-E AWD Extended Range in October 2022. Mileage 10,000. I paid £55000 against a new price of £65000.
it’s value today from Cazoo is set at £31,250.
can this be right? A drop of over £20,000 in 3 months. A local Ford dealer says ignore this valuation but he would wouldn’t he!
Comments appreciated please.

The new and use car market is in free fall right now. Partly due to the artificial high prices of the last 2 years because of "supply chain constraints." Partly because of FOMO. With the worldwide recession looming, people have cut back on spending.

At this point, unless you plan to sell it tomorrow, don't worry about the sunk cost, what's done is done. go out and enjoy your car. It's still the same car you bought a few months ago.

That seems too low, what do other online dealers who will give you an instant quote say?

Thanks for that. Agree, I'll just enjoy the car and not crystallise the loss by selling or trading it in now
