A friend of mine took me for a drive in his Lightning. His / my observations…
He wishes the cams wouldn’t wait to come on until he’s only a couple feet from an object (ME TOO, BRO).
He’s having trouble with PAAK sometimes. (US TOO, BRO).
He says the 0-60 time is misleading because he can’t floor it from a dead stop without the tires spinning out. My Premium 4EXT would probably beat him even though it is “slower.”
The glass roof is partitioned and the front half opens. Plus a retracting sun shade.
The frunk is INSANELY huge. And he can open it with FordPass LOL.
There is no opening under the center bridge between driver and passenger seats, and it makes no sense. Wasted space.
The shifter is a shaft instead of a knob, and it electronically folds down, which he figures is unnecessary and just one more thing to eventually break.
Only one color of ambient footwell light - blue. Huh?
He doesn’t have any video streaming yet. So I’m rocking a later version of Sync than he is.
The suspension is cushier than my Mach E.
It is a beautiful vehicle. But pricey$$$$.
