My wife and I each have a PAAK set up for the car, with hers set up on a different FordPass account. This seems to be confusing the car when we are both in the vehicle with our phones, which is most of the time. Or maybe I’m the one who is confused. On a couple occassions she walked away from the car with her phone while I was still in the car with mine, and it displayed Key Not Available. Shouldn’t it switch over to my phone once hers is out of range, or vise versa? I always drive when we are together, but I don’t see anything in the manual about setting a priority for my PAAK over hers for unlocking and starting the car. I'd be interested to know how others with two PAAK setups are managing this. Thanks.

I have two PAAK set up as you have. I am also confused about this. I am under the impression that the car may give the message it did but should quickly recognize the existence of another PAAK in the car. It comes down in my view the PAAK system has delays. And the delay in the systems recognizing who is leaving , who is in etc is what causes these issues and hopefully will be fixed. I know I am probably not answering your question

I saw this today - wife drove and I was in the car. CarPlay switched over to my phone, while the profile remained hers. I had to manually disconnect and reconnect her phone.

That said, as for recognizing your PaaK, my guess is that one option is for your to to open then close the driver side door with your phone in proximity (or near the drivers door) to start a new "session."

Hmmm, I didn’t know that the driver door could reactivate the PAAK in that way. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks.

I get the key not detected every time I drive the car. After you turn the car on I think it loses its PAAK bluetooth for the Sync Bluetooth connection. So far its not caused any issues.

Do you have profiles in the car setup? Does it show the correct profile?
